Availability
Here are the locations where Jamulii servers are currently available. When setting up a Jamulii server, your choice of location will have an impact on overall latency and audio delay during your session.
Choose a zone that is nearest to most of your users. If you and/or your users aren't located within or near any of these zones, you can still use Jamulii. Just select the location closest to, or between, most of the users who will be joining your session.
Regional vs Local zones: Regional zones have more resources and have better access to network "shortcuts" to other regions. Local zones provide limited resources for specific areas that are some distance from their nearest region.

If latency is an issue for your session, you can try running a server in a different zone to compare. Due to the complexity of the internet, some zones may work better for some users than other zones, even if those zones are similar distances from the users.
Jamulus and Jamulii take advantage of cloud networking optimization to reduce latency to the bare minimum. But keep in mind, due to the laws of physics, the further a user is from a connected server, the greater the latency and audio delay.
